Janet Mbugua
Janet Wamuni Mbugua is a top notch reporter and news anchor at citizen TV, famously know for what many may call beauty with brains. She grew up in Kenya but proceeded to further her education both in Malaysia and South Africa. She was branded as a tom boy back in her early days, and then shortly enjoyed a career in modelling a while in Cape Town and Malaysia, contrary to being the pretty but serious news anchor that she is today. Janet started off at Capital FM then an anchor at KTN before landing a lucrative job as a news anchor with ETV in South Africa, shortly after, she was called back home by citizen TV where is one of the highest paid and most talented journalists in the Kenyan Scene. Kathy Kiuna
Senior Pastor at Jubilee Christian Church in Parklands who rose from being a humble secretary to one of Kenya's most charismatic preachers. Kathy's spiritual journey began when she was 22. She was something of a wild child in high school (CGHU Parklands). After highschool, she want to Queensway Secretarial College. She was working as a secretary and singing in the worship team at faith Evangelisy Ministries under Teresa Wairimu when she met Allan, also a member of the church and they were married. They eventually started the Jubilee Christian Church in January, 17 1991 that has since become one of the largest gospel ministries in the country with branches in Kenya, the US, the UK, and South Africa - thanks to "great mentors" such as Teresa Wairimu and Pastor T.D Jakes. Not content with being co-founder of a busy church, Kathy has also found time to write. She has authored "Celebrate Yourself" and "Woman without Limits" and a third book will be out soon. Kathy will also be presented to grace the TEDxThikaRoadWomen.
